ATV USB Creator

atvusb-creator is a new GUI tool to create Apple TV patchsticks — in this case, a USB stick that will allow you to install SSH, some other utilities, XMBC, and boxee on an Apple TV. As of this writing, you’ll need an Intel-based Mac to successfully create the USB patchstick; Windows and Linux versions are forthcoming. The GUI seems to run on top of code from the atv-bootloader project.

I’m definitely interested in playing with this, but I need to get past the Intel Mac requirement somehow. Boxee seems promising, and Hulu support for the Apple TV would be very nice! Here is some info on installing boxee on the Apple TV.
